KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Dancehall artiste Buju Banton is taking the Jamaican scene by storm with a track from his latest album ‘Too Bad’. ‘Driver A’ is can be heard blasting from cars, buses, and in the shopping malls! Almost everyone I have been in contact with are talking about this ‘wicked track!’

“Yeah man it a dun di place!;” “A di wickedest ting Buju ever duh,” are just a few of the comments that have been made about this song. Not much has been heard about the sale of the album, but if the track is anything to go the results should be interesting.

WHO IS KC JOCKEY?

That seem to be the question on everyone lips that view the big billboard that is placed on Constant Spring Road at the Shell gas station (across from Merl Grove High School). The New York-based artiste is certainly doing some heavy promotion in Jamaica although he has yet to perform in the country! His songs ‘Fling Whine’ and ‘Want A Wife’ are heavily rotated on the stations here though.

There is just one thing to be said. After setting the stage with all this hype, one hopes he lives up to expectation when he does get the opportunity to grace the stages of our local shores.

JAMAICA REGGAE ARTISTE ON ITUNES

Jamaican Reggae artistes are now getting very creative when it comes to marketing their music. Fahrenheit’s songs will now be available on the very popular Itunes, including a preview of ‘Port Antonio Virgin.’

This artiste has been performing and recording reggae, soul and R&B around the world for over ten years. He can currently be seen on stage and in videos with dancehall superstar Sean Paul, as his back up singer. Traveling around the world on gigs with Sean has gotten him tons of exposure and has helped him to develop a vast network of musicians and producers to record with. Look for big things from this very talented artiste.
