NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Eleven legendary West Indian cricketers and one umpire have made the cut this year as nominees for the Sticky Wicket Hall of Fame.
The majority of the 2007 nominees hail from Barbados and are Sir Clyde Walcott, Cuthbert Gordon Greenidge, Desmond Haynes, Seymour MacDonald Nurse and Rev. Wesley Winfield Hall. But rounding out the list is 70-year-old former top Guyanese batsman, Rohan Babulall Kanhai, the Trinidadian Lord Leary Constantine, Antiguan Richard Benjamin Richardson and Jamaican Douglas Sang Hue and Peter Jeffrey Leroy Dujon.
Lord Leary and Sir Clyde will be honored posthumously.

The Sticky Wicket is located in northeast Antigua, across from V.C. Bird International Airport and owned by Texas-born, Antigua-based billionaire, Allen Stanford, chairman and CEO of the Stanford Financial Group global network.
To date, Hall of Famers include legends like Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander, Sir Garfield St. Aubrun Sobers, Clive Hubert Lloyd, Brian Lara, Sir Frank Worrell, Courtney Walsh, Curtley Ambrose and Lance Gibbs.
